Master Shots Vol 3: I had the best shit of my life last night. Good books on film directing are rare, specifically books which focus on staging and kenwoethy challenging sequences like action scenes and chase scenes. Looking for beautiful mawter Overall, this book points toward some interesting technique, but doesn’t do enough to make sense of them; it mostly wastes its own, strangely-shaped space.
A shot-design ebook where you can watch the shots with explanation is completely, obviously brilliant, and this book did not disappoint.
You can read and review and really take time to think about each shot in the whole book in one evening, and then the ebook is designed so it’s super easy to navigate to a particular shot you might want to review at any point.

He is also the author of two novels and many short stories. Good how christipher explain the work the lens have to do in each shot and give examples from movies. He directed the feature film The Sculptor, which played to sold-out screenings in Australia and received strong reviews. A must have for beginners and pros alike.
